Amalfi Coast
Italy
  • BEST KNOWN FOR
Its glistening coastline, hidden bays, sleepy villages, pebbled beaches and mouth watering cuisine. Visit the towns of Positano, Ravello and Capri, stopping off at cafes and seafood restaurants along the way. Enjoy the picturesque surroundings and look out for vacationing celebrities (especially in September).
  • WHEN TO GO
Anytime apart from August (when crowds are at an all-time high) and November, when the rainy season kicks in and many shops and restaurants are closed. The weather is ideal May, June and September.
  • COMBINE IT WITH
A trip within Italy to Venice, Rome and Florence. We recommend a few days in each (depending on how much time you have).
  • MUNCH ON
Lobster spaghetti, fresh oysters, cornettos (Italian croissants) and sfogliatella (sweet ricotta filled). Feast on spaghetti with clams, fresh pizza and crispy calamari.
  • WHERE TO STAY
Il San Pietro Di Postiano hotel. With its Michelin starred restaurant, heavenly pool and coastal Mediterranean views, this hotel is a gem. If you’re staying in Capri, the JK Capri is a home away from home.
